I am so so excited about one of my latest projects – fusing two of my passions – decorating and shopping! This week has been busy and it’s not over yet!! I was a judge at Animal Fair Magazine’s Halloween Pet Costume Contest that benefited the Humane Society of NY. Bella dressed up as a NY Ranger with a hockey mask. She looked so tough, but still like a little princess.
The week before I hosted an event for the American Humane Association at the Samantha Thavasa store benefiting the Second Chance fund for neglected and abused animals. October is not only Breast Cancer Awareness month but it is also Adopt-A-Dog month!! I want to encourage everyone to adopt if they are looking for a pet. It is so important to save the lives of homeless animals in shelters!! A percentage from all the Samantha Thavasa bags sold from the event until the end of October goes toward the Second Chance Fund at American Humane.
For breast cancer awareness I was a presenter at the Susan G. Komen Pink Soiree party. I wore a beautiful Carolina Herrera pink dress (of course!!) with Versace shoes. I was so nervous to speak in front of all the guests. It doesn’t matter how many times I have done it, it still terrifies me!! I am so glad it is over and now I can get ready for Halloween!! I am hosting a party called Horror on the Hudson at Pier 92!! Halloween is my favorite and I can’t wait for the party!! It is going to be huge!! (75,000 square feet) I am going to be Sandy from Grease and Brian is Danny. I am dressing as the naughty Sandy though with the black tight pants and super curly hair.
Tonight its the NY Rangers at MSG and then carving pumpkins!! It will be a nice relaxing night before the craziness of Halloween tomorrow!!

I was so nervous to tape EXTRA for my show HIGH SOCIETY and was sort of freaking out about it for days before. It was actually so much fun though and I had such a great time!! Mario was super sweet and so cute and was really easy to talk to. I wore an adorable J. Mendel hot pink dress. The next day I did a photo shoot for promos for the CW. It was great!! I am obsessed with the Black Eyed Peas song Meet Me Halfway and I made everyone at the studio listen to it on repeat pretty much the whole day!! We were all dancing it was so much fun. I am still not sick of the song by the way. Still totally love!!

Sundance was so much fun!! Dabney and I stayed at the Dakota Mountain Lodge. It was really pretty and there was an amazing spa called the Golden Door. It was my first time to Sundance but I went to Park City lots when I was younger. My family always took ski vacations for every holiday.
Friday we went to a private party for Ryan Reynolds for his movie Buried and then went to the EXTRA party in town. Afterwards Dabney and I went to TAO. We had the best time!! Everyone was dancing which we love to do and you really never do anymore in New York besides jumping up and down on banquettes. Saturday we went to as many gifting suites as we could!! I got a Wii Fit Plus, Lia Sophia jewelry, amazing furry black boots by Australia Luxe, a really cute Sanctuary fake fur jacket, lots of Aveeno products, and some super cute Charlotte Ronson stuff!! That night we went to a party for the movies Sympathy for Delicious and Hesher to see Constantine and a few of the Rock of Ages guys do a performance. It was SO much fun!! I have seen Rock of Ages 6 times so far but I just can’t get enough!!
Sunday Dabs and I were so tired so we just hung out at the hotel and spa all day and then went to the Gold Bar party and back to TAO. Dabney and I had such a blast at Sundance!!
